Job Description
Line Saw Operator
Maintain housekeeping on all operated equipment and immediate area of responsibility.
Conduct Operator Performed Maintenance on all operated equipment (change saw blades, replenish release agent, service printer and label applicator, clean and lubricate dust collectors and can densor, etc.).
Continuously check product and correct for dimensions, foam quality, and appearance.
Grade boards and cull inferior product. Label seconds for transfer to warehouse.
Backup for Packagers during breaks and labor shortages.
Take and record densities as needed, record and maintain those results.
Monitor trash collection and change trash bins.
Other duties as needed.
