Job Description
This position reports to the Plant Foreman and is responsible for safe and productive operation of all plant and mobile machinery to facilitate production. The hours are 6am - 6pm, 4 days a week.
Specific Responsibilities:
Operating mobile equipment as required for assigned tasks (forklift, loader, extend boom, semi-truck).
Operation of bulk bagger, capping &
wrapping bags, staging product in designated areas.
Plant and yard clean-up as needed to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
Repair of pallets and bags as needed.
Reporting any manufacturing incidents to the lead/supervisor.
Perform daily machinery and equipment inspections.
Following the lead /supervisor directions and instructions in all tasks to ensure that SAFETY goals and production goals and demands are met.
