ABOUT THE ROLE
The Operations Tech Support role is responsible for the installation and breakdown of Billfold tablets/POS systems, assisting with inventory, update, and maintenance of equipment, and providing technical support to staff and guests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES &
RESPONSIBILITIES
Check all devices upon arrival for good working order, alerting Tech Lead if devices need repair or replacement
Setup devices per instructions from Tech Lead
Check WiFi and bluetooth to ensure connectivity is enabled
Ensure wiring is in good working order
Perform walkthroughs of the venue throughout the event to ensure machines are in good working order and troubleshoot, as necessary
Provide technical support to staff and guests
Shutdown devices at end of event, cleaning and properly storing them to charge
Locate/create power solutions at all bars, secure power outlets under every bar to ensure all devices have power
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship or equivalent work experience
AA degree in a technical field, a plus
Highly motivated and able to work independently
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be willing to work long shifts, including overnight shifts
Must be able to work standing for extended periods
Must be able to move, pull, carry or lift 50 pounds
COMPENSATION
Hourly rate for this position is $18-$25
