Operations Manager

Interested in working with speciality coffee? We have an exciting opportunity here at French Truck for an experienced leader in operations working with our Memphis, TN locations! This role will be based out of our Crosstown location at 1350 Concourse Ave., Memphis, TN 38104.
The Operations Manager is tasked with the supervision of assigned French Truck Coffee retail locations, with a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement. The Operations Manager is responsible for providing guidance to Store Managers in operations including labor and regulatory compliance, inventory control, scheduling, expense control, and operational performance, while fostering and maintaining a friendly, welcoming, organized, clean and customer service driven atmosphere. They act as a representative of French Truck Coffee, building and fostering professional relationships internally with staff, and externally with vendors and suppliers, and are responsible for operational execution, financial performance, and special projects as assigned. The Operations Manager will be required to travel to their assigned retail locations consistently which may result in traveling often.
Essential Job Functions
Partner with the Director of Operations to set and leverage data analytics to drive organizational decision-making
Review and monitor inventory, scheduling, performance, purchases, and other expenses to ensure teams and facilities are within budget.
Organize activities surrounding services and installations for new store openings that fall within your assigned territory
Establish and manage safety, quality, and productivity standards for all Team Member positions.
Regularly inspect the facilities to ensure compliance with all programs, policies, and standards.
Help to establish and maintain strong, positive, credible, professional external relationships with all parties relevant to French Truck Coffee including customers, vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers
Maintain strong communication with Shop &
Cafe managers regardingcurrent vendor information and product ordering methods
Consistent travel to assigned retail locations in your territory
Supervisory Job Functions
Organize and facilitate weekly meetings for store level management teams, as well as regular 1-on-1 conversations with store managers individually.
Work with fellow Operations Managers to share and develop best practices in all aspects of the business
Develop performance goals collaboratively with direct reports, reflecting the companys goals, business needs, and strategic directives
Ensure that current business needs and performance goals are clearly communicated to managers, ensuring that information is filtered down through the entire staff
Provide fair, constructive, and timely feedback towards performance expectations and goals
Ensure store managers are maintaining proper labor, sales, and supply costs
Provide assistance, guidance, and coaching support as needed
Conduct performance evaluations according to French Truck Coffees established systems and policies
Perform other duties or special projects as necessary

Education/Experience Requirements
High school diploma or GED;
Bachelors degree in business administration or related field preferred
At least three (3) years of operations management experience in the food service, food product manufacturing and/or hospitality industry with multi-unit experience required;
five (5) years preferred

Knowledge of operations including manufacturing/production, distribution, and supply chain management
