At 360 Degree Therapy, we are seeking a friendly and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with individuals of all ages to help them develop or regain skills needed for daily living and meaningful participation in activities. You will assess clients' needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and provide therapy sessions to address physical, cognitive, and sensory challenges. Through effective collaboration and communication, you will work alongside other professionals and families to promote independence and enhance quality of life. We are currently seekingOccupational Therapistsin Daly City, CA for the Upcoming School year. We're looking for a committed and patient-focused to develop, recover, or maintain the daily living and work skills of people with physical, mental, or developmental conditions. You will be required to offer effective and client-centered services that will enable people to confidently and independently carry out everyday tasks or activities. This is a full-time position in high school and transition age(18-22). The successful candidate will have a holistic perspective and will be able to adapt to the environment to fit the person.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy - Valid state license in Occupational Therapy - Experience working in a clinical or educational setting - Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles, techniques, and interventions - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to create and implement individualized treatment plans - Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for improving clients' skills and well-being - Ability to work effectively in a team - Friendly and approachable demeanor
Skills
Proven working experience as an occupational therapist
Excellent knowledge of principles and practices of occupational therapy
Hands-on experience with computer programs and creative media
Familiarity with ADL evaluation tools ( e.G. Katz ADL scale, Lawton IADL scale)
Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities
Current knowledge of treatment practices per discipline and drive to continually learn and grow in the profession
Professional behavior
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Valid license to practice occupational therapy
BS degree or greater in occupational therapy
