Nurse, Welcome Mat Health

Welcome MAT Health was founded with a commitment to providing compassionate and evidence-based treatment for individuals struggling with substance use disorders. The program firmly believes that substance use disorders are a complex medical condition that requires a holistic approach, and MAT is a key component of their treatment strategy.
Job purpose:
The purpose of the part-time nurse is to dispense medication to the patient population and maintain documentation in patient records and clinic logs on a daily basis.
Reports to:
Nursing Supervisor, Director of Nursing
Responsibilities:
Maintain professional standards and follow the treatment policies of the clinic, federal and state laws and regulations.
Assist the program director in completing performance evaluations according to organizational policies.
Administer methadone or Buprenorphine medication as ordered by the clinic medical director.
Maintain accurate accounting of all medication received from the supplier.
Dispense medication to the patient.
Collect urine, process, and read test results as ordered by the medical director.
Maintain safe storage of all medication stock and records as required by the DEA, FDA, and ADP.
Requirements
Must be a licensed practical nurse (LPN) within the state of North Carolina.
Have training or experience treating patients in an outpatient treatment program.
Demonstrable history of no alcohol or drug/medication misuse for a period of five (5) years prior to employment.
The perspective individual will not display any evidence of alcohol or drug/medication misuse and/or unlawful behavior as an employee of Welcome MAT Health.
