About the role:
You'll have an exciting opportunity to be responsible for developing the go-to-market (GTM) strategy and lead sales execution support to retain existing accounts and win new ones with a focus on Regional/Community Banks and Credit Unions (RCBC). This includes working cross-functionally across FIS, representing the FIS Networks business unit in furtherance of sales, revenue realization, and margin goals. Core to this role is being a catalyst for expanding our RCBC pipeline and then ensuring effective execution.
What you'll be doing:
Design sales campaigns and enabling new “one to many” sales channels then managing execution &
drive wins by proactively addressing sales friction points
Work closely with FIS Sales, Marketing and Growth Office Colleagues, develop channel strategies for both our NYCE and CULIANCE networks
Communicate the FIS Network value proposition over global and national competitors to clients, prospects and consultants that support their RFP
Maintain Network view of RCBC and reseller/referral sales pipeline
Proactively ensure sales resources are pursuing opportunities on a timely basis
Review and oversee sales to FI's that are exempted from Federal Reserve Reg II
Train and mentor solution sellers and renewal specialists throughout the sales cycle
Identify and evaluate new business opportunities and market initiatives by analyzing internal and external data
Lead the development of effective sales content, including sales talking points and objection handling scripts
Work closely with Product Development team
What you bring:
Well versed in product and regulatory trends across the payments industry
Proven ability to support and drive ROI based sales in the payments technology space
Robust knowledge of Payment Network solutions (NYCE, CULIANCE)
Bachelor’s degree in business, management, finance, B2B marketing or other related discipline.
10-15 years of experience in financial services, and experience with payments products (Networks or other solution) or having made buying decisions about selecting payments network at a regional bank, large community bank or large Credit Union
Proven ability as a strategic GTM thinker and sales process manager with experience managing and improving sales operational processes
Enthusiasm for sharing relevant payment network knowledge
Working familiarity with CRM tools like Dynamics, (url removed), HubSpot or equivalent and effective MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
