Network Administrator

RMC is hiring for aNetwork Administratorwho will provide support to an RDT&
E environment at Patuxent River, MD.
The selected applicant will possess the following skills:

Provide application support to the Network Infrastructure, Private Cloud, and RDT&
E environment.
Install, configure, and maintain an organization's local area network (LAN), data communications network, operating systems, and physical and virtual servers.
Perform system monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems.
Review System and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups.
Analyze network and server resource consumption and control user access.
Install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses.
Perform network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software.
Implement and maintain DoD security measures and provide artifacts to maintain system accreditation.
Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team in RDT&
E environments.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s Degree and three to ten (3-10) years of experience in related infrastructure, operating systems, system administration work is required.
Six (6) years of additional related work experience or an Associate’s Degree and four (4) years of additional related work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.
Certification Requirement:
The selected applicant must have DoD 8570/5239 IAT Level II Certification (Security + CE).
Security Clearance Requirement:
Anactive DoD Top Secret clearanceis required to start.
Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
