We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Network Administrator II to join our Network Operations department in Santa Ana, CA. This position assists in designing, organizing, modifying, installing, and supporting the company's computer systems and networks. The primary focus of this position is to maintain a healthy security posture of network, and to install upgrades and patches for systems and applications. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.

30 am – 5:
00 pm, including a 30/60-minute unpaid meal period. Overtime is scheduled as needed. This is an onsite position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze vulnerability assessments and ensure all machines/devices connected to network are remediated and kept up to date with the latest patches and updates.
Manage and maintain Active Directory users/groups/permissions/roles.
Assist in maintaining company’s Office365 environment.
Add, remove, and change authorities for network users for internal applications.
Respond to security incident tickets provided to us by our MSSP.
Monitor all systems resources using tools such as PRTG and attend to/escalate critical issues.
Maintain, configure, test, and document companywide backup processes using Veeam Backup and Replication Suite.
Resolve issues reported by end users for local and wide area networks, personal computers, and networking equipment (switches, routers, etc.) and provide answers to complex questions related to these systems.
Respond to assigned help desk support tickets through ticketing software in an efficient and timely manner.
Assist in maintaining VPN users and remote access protocols and devices.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in network administration.
Requirements
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in network administration or related roles.
Experience working with Office365 Suite at an intermediate level.
Intermediate to advanced level knowledge in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
Strong understanding of MS Active Directory Services/Group Policy/Permissions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Operating Systems, including Windows 10 and Server 2016 or later versions.
Strong understanding of network protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, and VPNs.
Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
Knowledge of network security principles, best practices, and risk assessment methodologies.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Basic to intermediate understanding of VMWare virtualization technologies.
Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CISSP are a plus.
Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Regularly required to sit, talk, and hear. Frequently required to use hands and fingers to handle and feel and reach with hands and arms. Occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl. Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision required by this job include close, distant, and peripheral vision, and focus adjustments.

Hiring Pay Range (hourly paid):
