Job Description
The National Business Manager, Field Access Specialists (FAS), Oral Migraine, is responsible for ensuring that the Oral Migraine Field Access Specialist (FAS) team has the appropriate resources, support, and information to deliver on patient and franchise expectations. In addition, the National Business Manager (NBM) assists in identifying and leading strategic initiatives for the field and identifies opportunities to improve overall field activities, communications and operations. An ability to work cross functionally, influence without authority, and manage multiple projects simultaneously with a strong attention to detail and project management is critical to the role’s success.
Job Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary contact and build strong internal/external relationships amongst cross-functional groups and partners (Patient Services, Abbvie Access Support (AAS), vendors, Legal, OEC, BTS, FFE, CA&
O) to ensure integrationand execution of business strategies.
Develop, implement, and maintain communication strategy and structure to ensure the field team is educated and aware of appropriate information
Work with internal operations partners to manage platform including updates and resulting analytics for FAS team.
Ensure coordination with all cross-franchise partners that creates seamless training and execution of new resources, reporting tools or process changes. Collaborate with the training department to coordinate execution of product and systems training. Clarify and integrate marketing strategies to be customized to reflect the patient insights associated with each disease state.
Working with MABI, FAS Directors and Senior managers, AAS and hub vendor analytics, ensure both in-house and field-based teams have relevant, timely, and accurate data points and KPIs.
Coordinate all aspects of business meetings and National Meetings for the FAS team, including site selection, contracting, logistics, and agendas.
Collaborate with the Senior Managers, Franchise Directors, and Director of FAS to develop KPIs, ensure reporting systems are in place and provide monthly performance updates to the Directors
This position is also responsible for developing and executing a feedback mechanism from internal team members to assess the effectiveness of the program, gain insights on process improvements and coordinate with cross functional teams to implement program enhancements.
Enhance FAS culture through initiatives designed to make this the very best place to work. Communicating program changes consistently to teams and finding ways to recognize important program events and milestones
Collaborate with the training department to develop materials that integrate marketing strategies and are customized to reflect the needs of the FAS team both for initial and ongoing training.
Support the FAS team through field travel to gain insights into FAS activities, challenges, and opportunities.
Leads strategic initiatives (pilots, new programs, brand/product expansions).
Supports Senior Managers by coaching FAS during field travel and performing compliance ride-along
Manages escalations from other field teams, coordinating compliant and prompt response
Coordinates the onboarding process for all new hires, ensure training, IT, and systems are aligned and operational.
Manage projects and initiatives within identified time and budget parameters.
Travel up to 50%+ of the time. Field-based
Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hr day) is required
