Mysql Database Administrator

Job Description
As a Database Administrator, you'll support our production and development database servers/instances and ensure their performance, availability, recovery, and security.You will also be responsible for working with our Development and QA Teams to facilitate optimal releases and changes to our products. Additionally, you will be responsible for working with our other DBAs to share about your assigned product along with gaining and sharing knowledge on all Daxko products.
You will also:
OwnDBA-related tasks for assigned Daxko product lines
Manage production database users and permissions
Manage backup and recovery for production databases
Design schemas and other database objects
Support teams with importing and exporting data from various databases
Assist Technical Services team on customer issues
Assist various Engineering teams
Monitor Database Servers/Instances and resolve performance issues
Manage Database Servers/Instances failover clustering setups
Be a part of the on-call rotation
Perform standard Database Servers/Instances maintenance tasks
Assist in all database server updates
Work with Engineering and Test teams on performance turning of release-related items
Trainand/or ensurethat team is properly trained for their specific roles
Assistin resolving emergencies, such as a quality or customer problem that might be escalated to the team supervisor for handling
