Job Description
WMAQ-TV, NBC Chicago is looking for a multiplatform content producer to work with our team of exceptional journalists to create compelling and engaging stories for our broadcast and digital platforms.
HERE YOU WILL:
Work closely with the Platform Managers, Daypart Managers and Assignment Editors, as well as Reporters and Anchors, to create high-quality and informative news stories with integrity and accuracy
Produce, write, edit, and publish news stories for all WMAQ’s news platforms, including broadcast, website, streaming channels, and OTT apps
Use strong organizational skills to work quickly to meet fast-paced deadlines
Participate in editorial planning sessions and provide original story ideas
Add content to our digital and social platforms in conjunction with our dedicated digital content team
Fill in as broadcast line producer when needed on WMAQ newscasts and special programs
