Recruiting Heroes is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Motor Winderto join our client's team in Massillon, Ohio.
Job Summary:
Perform the testing, rewind, refurbishment of AC and DC motors. May perform operations involving dismantling, rewinding, repairing, reassembling and testing motors. Must have ability to read/review work prints and determine materials necessary for winding.
Essential Duties &
Responsibilities:
Ability to operate machinery to wind coils used in electrical equipment and instruments.
Use of measuring devices, (i.E.:
ruler, micrometer, venier, etc.), hand tools and testing devices (i.E.:
megger, volt meter, etc.).
Understands how to take connections data and develop wiring diagrams.
Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of tasks.
A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Works under general supervision.
Experience, Skills and Experience:
High school diploma or its equivalent.
May be required to meet certain certifications in field and to have at least 2 - 4 years of experience.
Ability to read/follow verbal work instructions and complete required documents.
Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
Specific Qualifications
Must be able to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen, and when applicable if duties involve operating motor vehicle must be able to pass motor vehicle record check.
