DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Production Associates in our mold shop will perform a variety of duties in a manufacturing setting to build, maintain and repair pouring and painting molds that are utilized in our production sites across the country to construct stone veneer. The ideal candidate will start framing molds and train for additional duties and responsibilities as outlined below.
Ensure safe work environment for self and others
Preparing and pouring master molds
Making frame boxes for the molds
Cutting wood in specified dimensions and assembling boxes including angles
Using air tools, table saws, etc.
Preparing and mixing latex for molds
Applying layers of latex paint to build the mold
Painting or pouring molds
Setting up conveyors for production as needed to prepare for the next day
Pouring, de-molding, and cleaning of molds
Quality control and packaging of finished product
General clean up and preventative maintenance activities
