Job Description
Primary Job Responsibilities
Create and maintain mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms.
Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality apps.
Optimize apps for performance, usability, and security.
Troubleshoot and resolve app-related issues and bugs.
Stay informed about the latest mobile development technologies and trends.
Participate in code reviews and uplift to coding standards.
Ensure apps meet App Store and Google Play Store guidelines.
Key Competencies
Experience with iOS and Android native app development and deployment
Proficiency with Swift and Objective C languages
Familiarity with user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design principles, particularly as it pertains to mobile applications
Skill in integrating APIs and web services into mobile applications
Experience with implementing push notifications and in-app messaging
Understanding of mobile app security best practices and data protection
Familiarity with mobile app testing, debugging, and performance optimization
Knowledge of app publishing processes on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store
Experience with cross-platform development frameworks is a plus
Solid understanding of dynamic web and application architectures, including the Model, View, Controller design principle
Proficiency in database design principles as well as SQL skills
Familiarity with agile software development methodologies
Familiarity with network and server administration is a plus
Strong communication, documentation and interpersonal skills
