Job Description
This position acts as a liaison between internal stakeholders and outside agencies to manage non-TIV funding on a student accounts. This role is responsible for promoting student success through accurate and responsive processing of non-TIV aid and providing support to our internal customers and external agencies. Acts with our TEACH values and fosters a culture of CARE consistent with our mission, vision, and purpose.
Responsibilities
Supports new student intake process by working with Enrollment, Admissions and Advising to set up student military benefits.
Assists students with understanding their military benefits by answering questions about their military funding.
Responsible for maintaining student satisfaction through facilitation of inbound and outbound phone calls, emails, and student appointments.
Utilize appropriate systems and student data to confirm and submit enrollment, changes to enrollment, grades, and graduation to the VA and DoD.
Supports internal customers and external agencies with responsive and professional communication via email, phone, SalesForce, and web conferencing.
Maintain a thorough understanding of all academic programs, policies and procedures including institutional policies, federal, and state regulations. Complies with applicable international, federal, and state laws.
Maintain a thorough understanding of VA benefits and DoD programs, policies, and procedures, including institutional and international, federal, and state regulations. Complies with applicable international, federal, and state laws.
Successfully completes various trainings to maintain access to VA and DoD systems.
Identifies opportunities and solutions that improve current methods and actively participates in the change of a constantly evolving organization.
Demonstrates our TEACH values while being open and responsive to constructive feedback from mentor/supervisor through the development process.
Actively participates in team meetings, special projects, and all other duties as assigned.
Maintains service level agreements as determined by leadership.
Maintains annual quality assurance accuracy rating of 95% and above.
Communicates effectively with colleagues and leadership.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Complies with all policies and standards.
