Metrologist

Job Description
The Metrologist is responsible for calibrating a wide range of equipment and instrumentation within pre-determined accuracy and precision tolerances.Equipment that is in scope includes but is not limited to:
balances, mechanical/electronic pipettes, thermometers, tachometers, timers, multi-meters, check weights and other standards (that are then used to calibrate other devices), pressure control devices and environmental chambers.
Maintaining a schedule, and adjusting the schedule based on the needs of partner groups
Reviewing the work of peers and assessing the work of external vendors.
