The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a wide range of tasks to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment safely and efficiently, supporting the company's business goals and objectives.
Essential Functions
Applicants of all skill levels will be considered. Wages will be based on skills and experience.
1. Install, maintain, and upgrade production machinery and plant facility equipment.
2. Provide emergency repairs for production equipment during operations and perform scheduled maintenance during machine service.
3. Utilize mechanical skills, including but not limited to mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, welding, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines.
4. Apply basic electrical skills, including troubleshooting and repairing motors, blown fuses, tripped breakers, and faulty wiring.
5. Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
6. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
7. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make necessary adjustments.
8. Conduct regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
9. Use various hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
10. Identify faulty operations, and defective materials, and report any unusual situations to the proper supervision.
11. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
12. Be adaptable to perform other duties as required by business needs.
Company specializes in the manufacturingof metal products, such as shear panels, roll-formed products, and metal building systems.
Required Education and Experience
1. High school diploma/GED
2. Completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education
And production maintenance experience preferred.
3. 4+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience. Strong mechanical, pneumatic,
Fabrication, and industrial skills are a MUST.
Schedule:
8 to 10-hour shift (48 hours per week)
1st Shift:
7 AM to 3:
30 PM (30 mins unpaid lunch)
3rd Shift:
11 PM to 7:
30 AM (30 mins unpaid lunch)
Monday to Friday
Overtime
Occasional weekends + holidays
