Job Description:
Metals Maintenance Supervisor
- Install, service, and upgrade production machinery and facility equipment.
- Perform urgent repairs on production equipment during operations and carry out planned maintenance during machine downtime.
- Employ mechanical skills, including pneumatic, hydraulic, welding, troubleshooting, and repairs on production machinery.
- Utilize basic electrical skills for troubleshooting and repairing motors, blown fuses, tripped breakers, and faulty wiring.
- Execute basic machinist tasks and responsibilities.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform necessary maintenance and service.
- Identify issues, replace or fix parts, test machinery, and make required adjustments.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility systems.
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment while performing duties.
- Detect and report faulty operations and defective materials to appropriate supervision.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:
1. High school diploma/GED
2. Completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education
And production maintenance experience preferred.
3. 4+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience. Strong mechanical, pneumatic,
Fabrication, and industrial skills are a MUST.
Schedule:
8 to 10-hour shift (48 hours per week)
1st Shift:
7 AM to 3:
30 PM (30 mins unpaid lunch)
3rd Shift:
11 PM to 7:
30 AM (30 mins unpaid lunch)
Monday to Friday
Overtime
Occasional weekends + holidays
