Metals Distribution Associate - 1st Shift

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, organize, and move materials for stocking or shipment as directed.
Safely load, unload, and transport materials within the plant/shop floor and racks.
Open and sort containers using appropriate cutting tools.
Weigh materials and prepare shipments according to customer instructions.
Lift objects by hand (up to 50 lbs) or operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts.
Assemble crates to secure products for shipment.
Maintain accurate records of material locations and updates.
Physical Requirements:
Driving forklift 50% of the time.
Standing/Walking/bending/lifting-49%of time

Additional Shift Differential:
2nd shift = .50/hour;
3rd shift = $1.00/hour
