Job Description
Respond to all medication refill requests in a timely manner, checking faxes and responding to patient/pharmacy medication inquiries.
Submit medication prior authorization in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring proper documentation in each patient record.
Review and respond to all pharmacy and patient drug interaction and/ or drug changes requests once reviewing with the Medical Provider.
Respond to all medical record requests in a timely manner.
Submit records when a payment has been processed and a patient signed Release of Information has been completed.
Comply with all company policies and procedures for risk identification and risk assessment.
Communicate efficiently with Medical Doctors, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician assistants regarding any medication questions.
Communicate in a positive helpful manner with all patients when updating on status of refill inquiries, prior authorizations, record requests or any other matter.
Interact with all medical receptionists in a positive and collaborative manner.
Covering Medical Receptionists as needed.
