Medical Front Desk Receptionist

Answering phones and forwarding calls to the appropriate party, or taking down messages for forwarding later
Check voicemails and return calls
Collecting patient information
Collect patient copay, co-insurance, and any balances
Ensuring that each patient has the proper documentation
Handling correspondence
Schedule and reschedule appointments
Check Eligibility
Assist the back desk receptionist
Greet patients
Check patients in and out
Requirements
Experience in a medical office setting PREFERRED, not required.
Ability to work effectively with all levels of our care team and other colleagues.
A positive attitude.
Remain in compliance with HIPAA.
Remain in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Proficient in typing.
Meticulous and organized.
Exceptional multitasking and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
