Full Job Description:
Traveling Medical AssistantCompany specializing in disability medical evaluations looking for qualified Traveling Medical Assistant/ Receptionist. This is a Contractor, PRN position. You will be called in as coverage is needed. Pay is $17 hr or $85 day whichever is greater. You will need reliable transportation to be successful in this position. Your role will be to check in/check out patients during veteran exams, conduct initial intake interviews during state exams, take basic vitals as needed, help the medical provider as needed, cleaning between patient exams as well as restocking and maintaining the office. We are looking for coverage for our Norfolk, Newport News, and Virginia Beach locations. Each day you will only be at one location and called in as needed. This position is a Contractor/ PRN. Our office hours of operation are:

00pm M-FNo Weekends
Qualifications:
Core skills in medical administrative support, patient care, and knowledge of medical terminology
Experience in providing patient services and care
Ability to perform intake procedures, including taking vital signs and documenting patient information
