Job Description

Responsibilities:
Supports NMRMG Clinical and Clerical (primarily staff in orientation, training and education of core RMG processes.
Supports Clinical and (primarily) Clerical staff in EPIC optimization activities.
Participates in creation, communication/training and implementation of EPIC workflows that support clinical and clerical standard work.
Collaborates with RMG leadership and content experts to design, implement, teach and evaluate clinical and clerical training and education for new hire orientation, new practice onboarding, and rollout of new programs and processes that target learner needs based on established criteria.
To be fully up to date with front office workflows and Epic functionality (in order to teach, evaluate competency and provide at-the-elbow support for front office staff), frequently functions in a practice as a Patient Service Representative (PSR) role or executes Practice Operations Supervisor (POS) tasks.
While executing PSR or POS functions, may perform any or all aspects of both roles as defined for an RMG PSR and POS, including utilizing the electronic medical record for practice operations front office functions (e.G. pre-registration, insurance verification, checking in patients, cash drawers, work queues, telephone encounters, scanning etc).
Using a data driven approach, designs and implements competency assessments for orientation completion, 90 day mark, and ongoing that assists with initial preparation for duties, performance reviews, identification and closure of performance gaps.
Assists with performance plans and competency assessments as needed.
Coordinates new hire orientation and training activities, including scheduling of employees and speakers, preparation of training materials, and processing of evaluations.
Maintains internal NMI RMG Education and Training page.
Provides educational consultation at the organizational level through participation in operational committees and workgroups.
Continually seeks feedback and maintains visibility across practices to gain contextual insight into training and educational needs.
