Mechanical Engineer - Mid Level

Overview of role:

Reviewing 3D packaging of complex power converters, energy storage, and PLC systems
Building of complex power converters, energy storage systems, and PLC systems
Thermal design of high-performance cold plates, heat exchangers, and systems
Structural analysis of package components, support structures, and shelving under harsh environment shock and vibration
Creation, review, and issuance of prototype and production-level drawings IAW GD&
T standards
Minimum Requirements:
United States Citizenship required due to US Government ITAR program restrictions
Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance
BS in electrical engineering, computer science, or related major required, with a minimum 3.3 GPA
MS and PhDs a plus
8+ years of mechanical engineering experience
The following experience is not required, but highly desirable:
Experience with CREO 3D modeling software
Experience with FEA and CFD modeling software packages
Experience designing thermal management systems and/or high-performance cold plates or heat exchangers.
Experience with insulation system design
