Per Sé Group is seeking a Mechanical Construction Engineer for one of our premier renewable clients. An international leader in the renewable energy sector, our client has a substantial North American portfolio and is continuing to grow rapidly with billions of dollars in development and execution through 2030 and beyond. This position requires travel for extended periods of time to domestic and international sites (per diem provided). THIS POSITION WILL BE IN ALBERTA, CANADA MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE AND PASSPORT

Responsibilities
Oversee the work performed by contractors in the construction of renewable energy facilities.Act as a Subject Matter Expert in Mechanical Construction activities and oversight.Monitor construction quality to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, QA/QC requirements, code requirements, contract requirements, and good construction practices.Assist in managing engineering contractors for the design of renewable energy facilities, including defining requirements and specifications, reviewing engineering drawings, and managing RFIs.

Preferred Skills and Expertise
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.EIT Certification a plus.Experience in construction of energy facilities or renewable energy industry is a plus.Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.Experience with project management tools and systems (MS Project, Primavera), is a plus.Experience designing with Auto Cad.
