Material Handler/Picker Packer 1

Job Description
Responsibilities:
Reads work order or follows verbal instructions to ascertain materials to be picked, packaged or moved.
Pick or package a variety of printed materials or print related items that require a limited variety of packing procedures and techniques.
Ensure product is stored safely and accurately in the warehouse.
Ensure organization by marking, sorting, and organizing inventory with accurate labeling or identifying codes.
May use handheld scanners or paper logs to document any change in inventory to ensure warehouse information is up to date.
Ensure that accurate quantity and kind of inventory remains stocked in warehouse bins, floors, or shelves.
Perform related tasks such as placing labels on packages, putting manuals into binders, and handling boxes for final product. Ensure accurate shipping information is attached and packages are shipped according to specified schedule.
Document inventory and maintain a clean and safe work area.
Pull or replenish inventory to satisfy organization needs.
Assist with investigating and correcting inventory discrepancies.
Assist with periodic review of inventory as well as perform physical inventory when required.
May feed, remove, flex, jog, and stack printed sheets, folded signatures, labels or other in-process product to and from the equipment in the area assigned.
Load and unloads materials onto pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.
Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area, using hand truck, electric dolly, or other device.
Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.
