General Summary
As Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting our content and email specialists and you'll play a vital role in the execution of marketing strategies. You'll assist in the creation and deployment of email campaigns, managing subscriber lists, crafting compelling subject lines, content, and other forms of copy. You will also participate in analyzing campaign performance metrics to optimize future efforts. Your ability to multitask, communicate effectively, and coordinate workflows will be essential in driving successful marketing initiatives and achieving organizational goals.

You will sit directly with the Digital Marketing Team, work in close collaboration with Business Unit Leaders, the Content Strategist and Email Specialist, as well as the Product Marketing team and report to the Manager, Digital Marketing
Core Functions
Support our customer communities across our social platforms by evaluating and responding to appropriate posts and comments
Assist in the project management and execution of digital marketing campaigns, including social media and email marketing
Coordinate campaign execution processes, including requests for graphic design, blog creation, email assets and copy, and scheduling of social media messaging
Work with your digital team members to analyze overall campaign performance and create reports to ensure we are on track to meet team goals
Participate in brainstorming and implementation of innovative brand campaigns
Inform marketing efforts by researching customer behavior, market trends and other variables.

Requirements
Required Qualifications:

1-3 years experience in Marketing or Digital Marketing Coordination.
Ability to manage multiple priorities with prior experience working in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional organizational, process, project, and campaign coordination.
Analytical and research-related skills.
Customer-service orientated and positive attitude.
Ability to proactively prioritize, manage and complete multiple projects simultaneously within time constraints.
Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms like:
ESPs (Iterable, Acoustic), Hootsuite, G-Suite (Docs, sheets, slides), social media platforms (Meta, Reddit, LinkedIn)
Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field
Understanding of the music education industry and familiarity with MakeMusic’s product suite (e.G., MakeMusic Cloud, Finale) and the Alfred Music catalog
Background or interest in music is a plus.
Experience in coordinating digital campaigns and understanding of online marketing strategies.
Campaign management background

Compensation
Peaksware/MakeMusic is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role is $38,008 - $63,346. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, and certifications.
This role is eligible for variable compensation including bonus.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment that is well-lighted, heated, and/or air-conditioned with adequate ventilation and a noise level that is usually moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets.
