Job Description
This position is responsible for helping research, project-manage and execute impactful marketing and external communications campaigns and projects along with their components to deliver optimized results. We’re looking for an intern who thrives on researching, developing, executing and measuring a variety of impactful integrated campaigns, projects and tactics—encompassing the spectrum of Marketing, Branding, Creative, External Communications, Advertising, Public Relations, Media Relations, Trade Shows and Events, Web, Social Media and more, leveraging a multi-channel approach to engage existing and prospective customers. You will work as part of a talented, cross-functional strategic marketing, branding and external communications team in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities and Tasks
Researches and helps execute integrated marketing and external communications plans and tactics
Completes projects and executes them on strategy, on brand, on time and on budget
Works with the marketing and external communications team to develop multi-channel marketing and communications campaigns to support strategic business objectives
Seeks to build and maintain collaborative relationships with a variety of teams and business functions to drive successful campaign and project outcomes
Supports a variety of (including but not limited to) marketing, branding, communications, public relations, media relations, advertising, sponsorships, trade show and special event initiatives and their integrated tactical executions
Collaborates with broader marketing, branding, external communications and sales teams to execute campaign elements and effectively engage target audiences
Creates and provides a mix of campaign/project presentations and reports to help drive and track outcomes
Creates content for targeted marketing, branding and external communications efforts. Will additionally work with content creators to align content to engagement channels, audiences—ensuring all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice
Participates in kick-off, reviews, approvals and schedule management for select campaign/project initial, interim, and final deliverables
Monitors schedules, identifies obstacles, recommends ways to re-prioritize and update execution processes to uphold deadlines and produce desired outcomes
Works with internal marketing, branding, creative, production, content, communications and other teams to develop assets needed for various campaigns and projects
Completes other projects as assigned
