Manufacturing Operations Manager

Responsibilities:
Drive world-class Operational Excellence to achieve Management Dashboard objectives, including on-time shipping, variable labor productivity, variable manufacturing cost reduction, quality metrics, and inventory investment.
Execute the conversion plan to meet budgeted costs.
Plan and achieve continuous improvement objectives for Lean manufacturing.
Develop and execute a long-term strategic manufacturing plan aligned with new business development and sales growth plans while achieving planned profitability.
Develop, gain approval, and execute plans for capital expenditures to support current and future production requirements.
Develop annual operating plans and gain approval for manufacturing requirements and related capital investments.
Ensure compliance with ISO/TS quality standards and registration requirements.
Supervise maintenance personnel.
Oversee Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and autonomous maintenance.
Schedule and ensure adherence to on-time shipment delivery and quality improvements.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Industrial Management or a similar technical field.
Extensive experience in the metal forming and fastener industry.
In-depth knowledge of metal component forming and machining.
Familiarity with ISO/TS quality standards and lean manufacturing/5S implementation.
Experience with ERP/MRP scheduling and forecasting systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven ability to develop and implement a long-term strategic manufacturing plan that delivers planned profitability based on a new business development/sales growth plan.
Demonstrated ability to identify, hire, retain, and motivate a management team to accomplish agreed-upon objectives.
Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively interacting with individuals from the manufacturing floor to the boardroom.
5-10 years of experience in progressively responsible manufacturing management positions
