POSITION SUMMARY
Support assigned manufacturing engineering activities as directed by the Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor and designated Manufacturing Engineers..
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Work effectively as a cell team member to ensure operational metrics are achieved and any remedial action is actively pursued.
Provide manufacturing engineering support and services within assigned manufacturing cell(s).
Maintain current updates on manufacturing engineering related tasks on the manufacturing cell log.
Design or specify any equipment/tooling/racking required to support manufacturing.
Review relevant engineering change orders (ECOs) within assigned cells or assigned option groups and support all aspects of production implementation.
Implement and facilitate lean manufacturing initiatives (5S, value stream mapping, set-up reduction etc.)
Assist with assigning default locators to parts within assigned manufacturing cells.
Help update standard work instructions and assist with training as assigned.
Help update and maintain layouts (plant &
cell layouts, inventory, housekeeping, emergency, and security maps, etc.)
Participate with continuous improvement and teamwork.
Conduct observations as assigned to ensure that assigned time standards are fair and consistent.
Participate in Material Review Board (MRB) meetings as assigned, to assist with the disposition of non-conforming materials.

Requirements
Engaged in 4 year Engineer – Manufacturing, Industrial, or Electrical engineering degree
Working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Experience working as an effective team player
Superior computer, organizational, and communications skills
Goal orientated and motivated to achieve tasks within set timelines
Auto CAD or UniGraphics, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel experience
