We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Manufacturing Assembly Technician to join our team. The Manufacturing Assembly Technician is responsible for the assembly of a variety of vehicles such as the Stripe Hog, Thermo Hog, Epoxy Hog, Rumble Hog, Grinder Hog, and Surface Hog. The ideal candidate will be able to read and interpret manuals and schematics, and troubleshoot problems from time to time.
They will also have a basic understanding and experience with all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair and would be responsible for constructing small parts and components to create new products according to specifications. They may need to work independently with minimal supervision. If you are a self-starter with a passion for automotive repairs, assembly and are mechanically inclined- We want to hear from you!
Specific Responsibilities Include:
Follow instructions given by the shop lead and follow production or service orders.
Assemble parts and fittings into sub-assemblies and install using air, electric and hand tools.
Read illustrations, diagrams or schematics to determine how to assemble components.
Measure and mark dimensions of parts to ensure a tight fit and a quality product.
Conducts quality control checks on completed work to certify that maintenance meets standards and that vehicle is safe and ready for operation.
Adjust, repair, and re-work parts and assemblies to ensure proper operation.
Perform quality checks on assembled parts
Maintain company equipment and work areas in a clean and orderly manner.
Requirements
This is an On-Site, not a Remote Job, that may require travel
Qualifications / Experience:
- High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent, preferred but not required.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience assembling in a manufacturing role.
- Experience working with Mechanical, Electrical, and Hydraulic systems preferred
- Skilled in using power and air tools
- Must own, and be comfortable using, typical shop tools to assemble a variety of components
- Self-disciplined, highly organized, and goal-oriented.
- Mechanical aptitude is necessary.
- Comfortable working independently

Must possess the ability to multitask with a strong attention to detail to work in fast-paced environment.
Other Important Information:
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position does not have supervisory responsibility.
Work Environment:
This job operates in a shop environment where tools and other machinery are used.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Monday through Friday, 8:
00 a.M. to 5:
00 p.M. However, this schedule may vary based on the needs of the shop and as assigned by the Fabrication and Production Manager which will change as required based on job duties demand.
Travel:
This position may require travel from time to time for a variety of reasons, a valid Florida Driver's license is required.
