Manual Machinist

1 Resource Group is hiring a Manual Machinist that will run VTL Horizontal Boring Mill and Engine Lathe.
Manual Machinist Duties and Responsibilities
· Read blueprints to determine what equipment and materials are necessary for the job
· Must be able to run VTL Horizontal boring mill and engine lathes
· Follow the blueprints to create the appropriate tools and components
· Operate your machines to grind, cut, and polish the materials
· Finish projects using manual tools
· Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure they remain in good working order
Requirements
Manual Machinist Requirements and Qualifications
· Machinist vocational certificate or completed industry apprenticeship
· Manual dexterity
· 6 years operating a Manual Machine
· VTL Horizontal boring mill
· Lathe machining experience
· Blueprinting reading skills
