The Managing Director of Marketing, Communications, and Enrollment will lead efforts to attract prospective students and staff, build the KIPP brand, and manage internal and external communications at KIPP TEAM &
Family (KIPP New Jersey+ KIPP Miami). Reporting to the Co-President and working closely with the COO, this role requires collaboration with senior leadership and various teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in performance marketing, branding, communications, and operations.
Here's what you'll be doing:
Marketing and Recruitment Strategy
Lead and implement marketing strategies for student and staff recruitment.
Partner with the Talent Team to meet staff hiring goals.
Manage media buys and creative development with media partners.
Track applicant acquisition costs and develop e-marketing strategies.
Develop systems to support application conversions and registration in collaboration with the COO and Managing Directors of Operations (MDOs).
Create analytics infrastructure to monitor marketing efforts.
Communications Strategy
Develop internal and external communication strategies.
Provide transparent updates on marketing investments and brand health.
Lead crisis communications and act as the organization’s spokesperson as needed.
Coordinate media training and press strategies.
Manage content for KIPP NJ and Miami websites.
Enrollment Systems and Structures
Streamline enrollment systems across regions.
Lead CRM and registration system deployment.
Establish standards and communication expectations for student recruitment.
Ensure compliance with state enrollment submissions and set enrollment targets.
Brand Strategy
Develop and implement brand strategies to build the KIPP brand.
Lead brand awareness campaigns and support Development team materials.
Elevate brand awareness and ensure brand standards are upheld.
Manage marketing initiatives and measure brand impression.
Team Leadership
Directly manage three teams:
Marketing, Communications, and Student Recruitment &
Enrollment.
Provide ongoing professional development and support for team members.
Oversee budget and project management processes.
