We developed a unique business model to provide tailored renewable energy solutions to the Commercial and Industrial (C&
I) space with a focus onmulti-tenant real estate. Due to massive growth, we are seeking a Manager of Project Finance in the Florida area.
Position Overview
The Project Finance Manager will occupy a central role in our financial team, driving the economic evaluation, structuring, and financing of our solar project portfolio. This highly strategic position is designed for a finance professional with a robust background in solar energy project finance and a proven track record of leading financial analysis teams. The role involves detailed financial modeling, investment analysis, and leading a team of analysts to ensure the financial viability and success of solar projects.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and enhance complex financial models for evaluating solar energy projects, including projections, risk assessment, and return analysis.
Drive the finance process from internal approval through closing of transactions.
Lead the financial analysis team, providing direction, mentorship, and development opportunities to junior analysts. Ensure high-quality financial analysis and reporting across the team.
Conduct thorough due diligence on potential solar energy investments, including financial, technical, and regulatory considerations.
Negotiate and secure financing from banks, investors, and other financial institutions, leveraging a deep understanding of project finance structures, tax equity investments, and debt instruments.
Work closely with project managers and cross-functional teams to align financial models with project specifications and company goals.
Present financial analyses and investment recommendations to senior management, providing strategic insights to inform decision-making.
Stay informed about market trends, regulatory changes, and financing innovations within the solar and renewable energy sectors.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the renewable energy finance community.
Requirements
Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, with significant expertise in solar energy project finance.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is highly desirable.
Demonstrated experience leading and developing a team of financial analysts.
Expert proficiency in financial modeling and analysis related to renewable energy projects, with a focus on solar power.
Strong negotiation skills and a proven track record of securing project financing.
Excellent leadership and communication abilities, capable of motivating a team and articulating complex financial concepts to a broad audience.
Solid understanding of the renewable energy market, including regulatory environments, tax incentives, and technology trends.
