Manager, Maintenance Services

Supervises building maintenance activities of the campus, to include electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, roofing, appliance repair, incinerator operations, painting and related activities. Oversees remodels and new construction projects as assigned.

Job-Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Duties:

1. Exhibits regular and punctual attendance.
2. Designs and implements a maintenance program for the campus in the areas of preventive routine maintenance and as-needed repair maintenance.
3. Oversees all building construction and remodel activities.
4. Serves as liaison for construction contract labor and activities.
5. Supervises painting and carpentry activities.
6. Supervises plumbing activities.
7. Supervises electrical activities.
8. In conjunction with the Systems Manager, coordinates the HVAC repairs, replacements, and planning.
9. Provides “on-call” services as required.
10. Ensures that maintenance/repair tasks are completed in a timely, quality and compliant manner.
11. Provides training and direction for residents who assist with campus maintenance activities.
12. Orders and maintains inventory of supplies.
13. Ensures that all equipment assigned is properly utilized and maintained.
14. Supervises staff in, and personally exhibits, appropriate interaction with residents.
