Scope of Position
Employees in this position are expected to perform preventive maintenance, inspection, and repairs and proactive improvements on the building, machinery, and equipment which includes mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor. Areas of responsibility will include improvement and upkeep of production lines, hosting contractors, and general maintenance / facilities tasks that may be assigned. Trouble shooting and root cause analysis of Manufacturing processes and equipment is an integral part of this position. In addition, this individual leads the site's internal Preventative Maintenance Program and participates in Environment, Health &
Safety, 5S &
World Class Manufacturing projects as needed. Use of a Computerized Maintenance Management System is an integral part of the role.
Essential Functions of the Job
Management of a CMMS System to schedule maintenance &
PM, track work orders, maintain assets, inventory parts and services and responds to breakdowns. Troubleshoot and root cause analysis of slowdowns and breakdowns of production/facility equipment (including PLCs) to ensure consistent performance of manufacturing operations. Setup of manufacturing equipment to meet production needs. Manage contractors on site. Lead Preventative Maintenance program. Participate in Environmental, Health and Safety, 5S and World Class manufacturing and other site initiatives as needed.

Practical / Technical Knowledge &
Experience Required
CMMS management experience
Operation of machine shop equipment including end mills, lathes, grinders, saws, and power &
hand tools. Experience trouble shooting manufacturing machinery, PLC Control systems, sensors, electrical motors, drives, relays with ability to determine root cause of issues. Experience working in ISO management systems such as 9001, 45001 &
OHSA 18001. Ability to be a self-starter, problem solver, strong communicator, and team player. Experience using Windows based PCs with Microsoft Office systems including Excel and Word.

Is this job for you ?
Minimum High School Diploma or GED;
required. Minimum of 2 years' experience in maintenance of a manufacturing facility;
preferred. Basic electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic skills;
preferred. Understands basic OSHA standards, safety, and quality issues involved in maintaining equipment and the facility;
required. Familiar withemergency procedures, equipment, and systems of hazardous materials;
required. Must be able to meet commitments and deadlines;
required.
