Maintenance Technician

Banyan Living is a dynamic growing company that owns and operates several luxury apartment homes in the greater Cleveland and Columbus metropolitan areas.
We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the efficient operation and upkeep of the property buildings and grounds in a supportive role. You will report to the Property Manager and work closely with other team members to ensure the maintenance needs of our properties are met.

Responsibilities:
Perform daily repair and upkeep of the property
Maintain the grounds and assist the groundskeeper as needed
Prepare vacant units for occupancy
Care for and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
Ensure the proper operation of appliances, heating and cooling units, and light fixtures
Work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
Report any unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents
Maintain a professional appearance and attitude
Perform basic plumbing and electrical repair work
Ensure compliance with all safety policies and guidelines
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices through continuous learning and professional development
Requirements
1-2 years of related experience and/or training
Strong technical skills in maintenance and repair
Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
Knowledge of OSHA standards and safety practices
