Maintenance Technician Skill I (Full-Time)

Job Description
As a Maintenance Technician Skill I, the work you do to care for the home away from home will be felt by our guests and colleagues. You will be an ambassador for our brand by taking care of the little things and the big things:
ensuring guests' requests are being handled to their expectations, completing projects, performing preventative maintenance and responding to repair requests in a timely manner.

$38.86
What you will be doing:
Maintain and repair all equipment using the applicable skill sets:
plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, kitchen, HVAC, laundry, boiler, painting, locksmith and pools/ponds. Assist with repairs and maintenance as determined by the Supervisor or as needed thorough service work checklists, preventative maintenance, mechanic challenges, operation testing
Perform all preventative maintenance on equipment scheduled, i.E. service work, grinding, adjustments, etc. Inspect condition of equipment and for parts to be repaired or replaced
Participate in departmental trainings on equipment to the satisfaction of the Supervisor. Trainings will cover specific points in the daily operations of the department. Report status of equipment to the Supervisor through service sheets or verbal communications to ensure proper functions and safety. Supportive to hotel wide training programs including but not limited to:
OSHA, Safety, Educational and Associate Enhancement programs to assure the continual upgrading of department personnel
Maintain accurate documentation of equipment maintenance and weather readings
Operate, maintain and repair boilers and associated equipment, including mixing, adding and analyzing boiler chemicals
Update records of repairs and tasks performed
Inspect and provide preventive maintenance for suites and/or villas
Inventory and requisition supplies and parts as needed
Perform maintenance requests as assigned
