Maintenance Technician - Metal Recycling

Responsibilities:
Coordinate and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities of equipment, machinery, and facilities.
Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to the maintenance of equipment and machinery.
Manage the inventory of spare parts and materials necessary for maintenance.
Coordinate with external suppliers and contractors for specialized services.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations in maintenance operations.
Requirements:
Technical knowledge in mechanics, electricity, electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, etc.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in similar activities in the Metal Recycling or Shredder industries.
Ability to maximize the availability and efficiency of equipment and machinery.
Proficiency in minimizing downtime due to technical problems or equipment failures.
Capacity to ensure maintenance of a safe work environment and comply with environmental regulations (OSHA).
Strong leadership skills to lead and motivate a team of technicians and maintenance personnel.
Ability to effectively manage resources and maintenance budgets.
Knowledge of safety standards and environmental regulations (OSHA).
