We are seeking candidates for Maintenance Technician positions on the 3rd shift. Compensation for this direct hire position is $58,240.00-$66,560.00 per year, depending on skills and experience. What you will do as a Maintenance Technician:

• Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance tasks and answering trouble calls
• Troubleshoot problems with the use of schematics and wiring diagrams on motor and heater circuits
• Remove and replace defective parts from equipment with the use of hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools
• Communicate effectively with the shift supervisor to prioritize repairs
• Make entries to the maintenance log explaining problems encountered, repairs made, and parts used or needed
• Keep company tools put away and in working order
• Fabricate repair parts, machine guarding, mezzanines, etc. using shop equipment (welders, plasma cutter, torch, grinder, etc.)

What you will need to be a Maintenance Technician:

• High School diploma is preferred with 1 year of relevant work experience
• Electrical experience required

• Good organizational skills with an ability to address multiple issues at once
• Effective communication skills in both spoken and written formats
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations and to other employees of the company
• Must be able to understand safety rules, SOPs, and work instructions
