Join a globally recognized leader in the chemical industry as a Maintenance/Reliability Engineer. This pivotal role, based in the scenic region of Eastern North Carolina, directly supports multiple chemical plants and reports to the Chemical Maintenance Superintendent.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive reviews and enhancements of existing equipment and processes within the Chemical Maintenance Department.
Lead project management efforts that focus on elevating operational efficiency while adhering to all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
Serve as a technical advisor, offering expert guidance to both the Operations and Maintenance teams.
Oversee a variety of projects, from conception through to completion, including system upgrades, cost estimations, and regulatory compliance.
Manage emergency maintenance initiatives and standardize procedures for rapid response and resolution.
Spearhead capital projects, including contractor selection, equipment procurement, and budget management.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, coupled with at least 3 years of experience in industrial plant maintenance or reliability engineering.
Experience or training in Vibration Analysis and Lubrication programs.
Professional Engineer (PE) certification and project management experience are preferred.
Must be eligible to work in the USA without sponsorship, now or in the future.
