Doota Industrial America, a global leader in the Telecommunications Infrastructure industry, is seeking a Low Voltage Cabling Technician to join our team. In this role, you will work to install and maintain low voltage cabling systems in the Samsung Construction site in Taylor, Texas. As a member of the Doota family, you will be part of an agile start-up environment with the stability of an enterprise that has been operating since 2002.
Responsibilities
Install, terminate, and test low voltage cabling systems according to applicable standards and codes.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with low voltage cabling networks.
Work collaboratively with electrical engineers and designers to ensure accurate and timely installation of low voltage cabling systems.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all installation and maintenance procedures.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all work completed and equipment used.
Provide guidance and support to other members of the team, including training on best practices and safety procedures.
Continuously improve technical knowledge and skills through training and education.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent;
additional technical training and certification preferred.
2+ years of experience in low voltage cabling installation and maintenance.
Knowledge of various low voltage cabling systems and their applications.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Basic understanding of electrical power systems and principles.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
