We are seeking to hire a full-time Logistics Specialist to join our Operations-Logistics Team.
Job Title:
Customer Service Manager
Primary Objective:
Growing customer loyalty and retention through logistic tracking, scheduling, and delivery cost analysis
Primary Functions:
This position is responsible for shipment scheduling, tracking, and costing analysis recording of operational service levels.
Reports To:
Logistics Supervisor
Scheduled Hours:
Mon-Fri / 8:
00am-5:
00pm / Bi-weekly evening 30 minutes
FLSA Status:
Hourly, starting range is $19-21/hr
Working Arrangement Classification:
Onsite
Key Areas of Responsibility
Call and message/email customers to confirming order information such as product ordered, address and phone number.
Work via phone and email with Coordinators, Contractors and Vendors to schedule pick up and deliveries.
Work with Contractors to determine site readiness.
Calling customers on lead time changes.
Generate freight quotes and schedule pickups.
Complete freight and parcel claim paperwork with transportation provider, paper or electronic.
Enter tracking for items into NetSuite also Bi-weekly 30 minutes to enter evening West Coast tracking.
Maintain and manage a Project and Delivery Manifest and schedule.
Is dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.
Displays enthusiasm, sincerity and professionalism when responding to the customer’s requests and questions.
Interacts with clear, professional written and verbal communications with clients of various levels of Management, and other departments within the organization.
Accept and classify returned products for final destination.
Set up product returns with vendors.
Other duties as assigned as related to continuous improvement of team performance, processes, and client satisfaction.
Monitor and analyze fleet vehicles Maintenance and costs associated using Verizon Connect.
Partner with logistics and supply chain to monitor our logistics spend.
Requirements
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work with a high volume of calls and calmly solve problems for customers and vendors
Ability to manage multiple priorities and demanding time frames
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Exhibits confidence and contributes to team building through a positive attitude
Maintains composure in high stress environments and situations
Ability to adapt to change and remain flexible
Demonstrates Courtesy, Respect, Integrity, Discipline, Responsibility, Accountability
Excellent computer skills;
proficient in Microsoftapplications (NetSuite knowledge a plus)
Education and Training
1+ years of Logistics or Supply chain experience
1+ years of scheduling and dispatch
Knowledge of Supply Chain/freight and parcel practices preferred
Forklift/Pallet Jack Knowledge preferred
