Key Responsibilities:
Truck Procurement &
Delivery Coordination:
Secure trucks, arrange deliveries, and negotiate rates for product orders at all TKI and third-party Toller facilities.
Communication:
Maintain open lines of communication with plants, terminals, and customer service to confirm the status of pending deliveries.
Logistics Collaboration:
Work closely with the Logistics department and business units to ensure adequate inventory levels at plants and terminals for seamless deliveries.
Customer Support:
Address and resolve customer issues and inquiries professionally.
Cost Optimization:
Identify opportunities to reduce costs without compromising service quality.
Relationship Building:
Develop and nurture relationships with internal and external service providers.
Cross-Training:
Support and cross-train on other departmental truck-related duties.
Professional Conflict Management:
Provide exceptional customer service on transportation-related inquiries and manage conflicts efficiently.
Efficiency &
Timeliness:
Establish proper courses of action to ensure timely and efficient work product completion.
Analytical Problem-Solving:
Identify, understand, and resolve issues by comparing data from various sources and making informed decisions.
Training Development:
Create and develop training materials to enhance team capabilities.
