Job Description
As an IS Specialist you will manage the hardware and much of the software needs of your local branch and customer base. Your internal customers are a diverse mix of technical and non-technical individuals so you will develop your skills communicating with both areas. Your skills in developing tools and technical solutions will assist improve the branch's processes and productivity and you will have ownership of the purchase, inventory and set up of new systems and devices and will ensure that the network operates at consistently and efficiently. You are an integral member of the team that ensures the effective management of technology, systems and keeps us operating efficiently.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Execute Regular IS Basic Tasks to keep the systems up &
running
PC builds and deployment using our standard imaging process
Level 1 and 2 Helpdesk Administration
Technical Support for PC, LAN, Expeditors Software and systems administration &
troubleshooting, in addition to global, regional and branch project implementation
Manage daily server data backups
On call for after-hours IS issues
Asset Management such as purchasing, shipping, tracking and maintenance
Ensure adherence to Company policies and procedures
