Local Certified Nursing Assistant

Responsibilities:
Assist patients with their activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
Help patients with mobility by transferring them safely to and from beds, wheelchairs, and other equipment
Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
Assist with range of motion exercises and physical therapy routines
Observe and report any changes in patients' condition or behavior
Ensure patients' rooms are clean and well-maintained
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients
Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals for coordinated patient care
Requirements
Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant in the state of practice
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience as a CNA in a healthcare setting
Knowledge of nursing principles and practices
Compassionate and empathetic approach towards patient care
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Physical stamina and ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
