TP-Link USA is currently seeking a Load Planner for our Warehouse.

What we’re looking for:
The Transportation Load Planner is responsible for accurately planning all orders and securing carrier capacity to ensure all orders are delivered on time. They monitor freight loads and investigate and resolve load issues in a timely manner. Additionally, they plan and implement programs as necessary to improve routing and carrier utilization to align with customer expectations and network needs.
Responsibilities:
Perform Outbound load planning activities through consolidation of purchase orders, routing, and carrier selection to meet service expectations for freight type and delivery date.
Coordinate with carriers to ensure on-time delivery by tracking trucks for pick-up, estimating times of arrival and delivery and recovering loads when necessary. Proactively communicate potential delivery delays to management.
Respond to customer needs by answering e-mails, phone calls, tracking shipments, and moving shipments.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers, colleagues, and managers.
Identify and select the best mode of transportation to reduce costs.
Process load tenders and follow through to ensure load acceptance by selected carriers.
Communicate and escalate issues as they arise to management.
Act as resource to less relevant experienced associates.
Ability to demonstrate excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills, and to seek and provide creative problem solving, and conflict resolution options.
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and company policies.
Requirements
What you’ll bring to the table
Must have 1-3+ years Transportation experience preferably planning Amazon shipments and deductions.
Bachelors required or equivalent experience of logistics and transportation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient in Word, Excel, WMS &
TMS
Extremely organized and effective with communication skills.
Flexibility to adapt to changing situations.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical/Misc. Functions
Ability to successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards, as applicable.
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, and company policy, as applicable.
Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone, and in person, sometimes in high energy/highly charged emotional situations.
Work schedule:

7:
00 AM – 3:
30 PM, Monday to Friday;
may vary based on business need.
Work Environment
Job will be performed in a warehouse environment that may be noisy, dirty, hot and/or cold.
