Our client, a leading provider of lighting solutions for residential, multifamily, and commercial applications, is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join their team.
As an Outside Sales Rep, you will play a crucial role in the selling process, from initial contact to ensuring accurate and timely product delivery. This is a remote position, with the option to utilize office space if desired.
Lighting Outside Sales Job Responsibilities Develop new business opportunities by prospecting and building relationships with architects, contractors, builders, and designers.
Collaborate with clients on the design aspect of lighting projects.
Serve as the main point of contact throughout the sales process, providing exceptional customer service.
Leverage your own contacts and actively hunt for new business opportunities.
Work closely with the in-house marketing/business development manager to generate leads.
Qualifications Strong customer service orientation with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
Previous experience in the lighting industry or similar client base is highly beneficial.
Ability to bring a book of business and/or existing contacts within the industry is advantageous.
Proven track record in sales, with the ability to effectively sell products and services.
Self-motivated and driven to exceed sales targets.
