Communicate regularly and clearly with the administration in real time with issues to be resolved collaboratively for the center. If anything happens that requires reporting at the center, you must let the administration know immediately.
If important documents such as letters, legal papers, memorandums, landlord communications, and the like come to your center, they must be immediately forwarded to the administration.
Partner with LIFE Team to ensure we are maintaining a nurturing and engaging educational environment for all children
They must recognize the children’s individual needs while preparing them for a successful transition into school-age programs.
Oversee and maintain staff schedules and daily tasks to ensure proper coverage and implementation of LIFE guidelines, mission, and vision to offer quality services to children and families.
Provide monthly training for teachers on up-to-date deliverables
Review teachers’ lesson plans, schedules, room arrangements, and portfolio assessments
Access and evaluate classrooms in CLASS and ECERS
Provide ongoing technical assistance for all education staff
Schedule and perform quarterly education staff reviews
Research and offer innovative skills and tools to enhance the quality of teaching in the center
Facilitate workshops for education staff that focus on short and long-term plans which connect all content areas
Facilitate education workshops for parents at least (3) three times annually
Assist in developing and implementing individual educational plans for children with special needs
Perform annual evaluation of education staff
Attend Site Director meetings and mandated monthly funder meetings
Report on a regular basis to the Early Learn Director of Programs
Reports to Executive Director
Requirements
Must possess knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and measurement of training effects.
Be able to establish and enforce rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order.
Must have knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective public safety and security.
Must understand human behavior and performance;
individual differences in ability, personality, and interests;
learning and motivation.

Must be able to monitor and assess performance of children and teachers to make improvements and take corrective action.
Must be able to develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with other and maintain them over time.
Must have basic computer skills;
ideally understands howto use Microsoft Suite.
